主平巷单侧自倒式矿车又叫单侧曲轨侧卸式矿车（也有人叫自卸式矿车），规格型号有1.2立方，1.6立方，2立方，2.5立方，4立方，6立方，8立方，10立方和最大12立方的载重容积。6立方以上规格的曲轨侧卸式矿车由于载重量过大，在卸载时容易损坏曲轨，我公司专利设计成八轮式，这样在卸载时就完全靠底盘自重来固定卸载翻车可能性的发生。

轨距600mm、762mm、900mm等尺寸主要根据用户提升绞车或牵引机车大小，矿藏运输计划，巷道或斜井净空尺寸，以及与整个掘进装运机械化作业线匹配来确定，一般1.2立方到4立方规格的侧倒式矿车适宜600轨距，6立方到12立方规格的自卸式矿车根据具体条件建议采用900轨距或762轨距。通常1.2立方到4立方的曲轨侧矿多用在平巷组列串车运输，2.5立方到6立方多用在斜井提升运输，8立方到12立方只用于大主平巷作主平运输。

轴轮是采用45#锰钢锻打，表面做深层蘸火处理的，或中碳合金钢，经过正火或调质处理，再经过中频最终热处理，车轮中碳合金钢铸造，车铣磨初加工和精加工后，再经中频炉最终热处理，车轮均采用平炉、电炉或转炉冶炼的镇静钢制造。
